Crystal Sharp PhotoMy name is Crystal Sharp. I am a grant writer, researcher, consultant and owner of CD Sharp Information Systems, Ltd. in London, Ontario, Canada. Since 2001, I have helped research teams apply for grants from: the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation (CHSRF), the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Social Sciences Health and Research Foundation (SSHRC), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Canadian Foundation for Innovation (CFI), Health Canada, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, and the European Union Framework 7 (FP7).

I am a graduate of Wellesley College, Wellesley Massachusetts in Economics; have a Masters degree in Economics from Boston College, Newton Massachusetts; and a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario. I am a member and abide by the professional codes of ethics of: the Association of Independent Information Professionals (AIIP) and the Special Libraries Association (SLA). I am a Past President of AIIP and a past Editor of the AIIP newsletter, Connections.

Peggy Howard Scholarship, 1986 Awarded to a graduate of Wellesley College to continue study in Economics at the graduate level.
1984 Natalie Bolton Memorial Prize for best student economics paper as judged by the Economics Department faculty at Wellesley College. The paper was on an interview Crystal conducted with Dr. Franco Modigliani, later recipient of Nobel Prize in Economics in1985.
